Rene Marie Russo, an American actor and film maker who was once a supermodel is now a film director. Rene Marie Russo is an American actress, filmmaker and former supermodel. She is known for her elegance beauty. Her longevity in an extremely competitive field is a testament to her talents and abilities in the field of performance. Her career began with a modeling job in 1970, then she rose quickly to prominence. After studying acting Russo started her career as a model at the age of Los Angeles. Russo made her screen debut in ABCs drama show Sable in 1987, playing the character of Eden Kendell. She portrayed Tom Berengers' love interest two years later on Major League, her debut film. Some critics who were initially skeptical by her acting abilities but eventually redeemed themselves when they saw her constant performance. They especially loved her in Wolfgang Petersens Outbreak in which she held her own in the face that of Dustin Hoffman and Morgan Freeman. She claims that she didn't have a love in acting. After a prolonged break, she self-imposed in 2005. She then made a comeback by playing a character in the film about superheroes called Thor. Also, she was in the Oscar winning film Nightcrawler which was which was directed by her husband. The Intern and Just Getting Started are two light-hearted films that she appeared in.
Rose Namajunas ranks among the best UFC female athletes. Her career began in amateur fighting, where she participated in various regional competitions. In the following years, she signed with Invicta Fighting Championships before joining Ultimate Fighting Championships (UFC). The fighter has gained plenty of attention following her joining of the UFC due to both her inside and outside the octagon's success. Namajunas is a Lithuanian immigrant who was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on the 29th of June, 1992. Rose played sports like basketball and kickeboxing when she was growing up. At 18 years old she made her professional debut for Invicta Fighting Championships in which she fought two times through submission. It caught the attention of Dana White who signed her to join UFC Strawweight in December 2014 at just 22 years old. Rose was a high-flyer but her lows as well throughout her career but always came out on top. Rose took on Carla Esparza on April 15 in 2015 for the Women s Strawweight Championship. Rose defeated Esparza by a technical knockout within less than 3 minute of round One. Rose not only got the title, but also was awarded Fighter Of The Night. Rose was also able to make MMA historical with her fight since she was the first woman to compete in a title fight in any organization of note. Namajunas was able to win several bouts following this victory, that included beating Joanna Jedrzejczyk on two occasions. The win earned Namajunas Performance Of The Night recognition from UFC.
